GROWNUPS
GROWNUPS is the first full-length Papercookie production, written and directed by John Ferrer. It's a digital comedy about four kids who pledge never to grow up. Three of them keep their promise while the fourth goes to law school, gets married, and joins society, which leads to all sorts of problems with his childlike friends. The film had its premiere at the Asheville Pizza and Brewery in North Carolina last year, and has also played at the Handlebar in Greenville, SC. It is currently being retooled for festival submission and further screenings across the country, and is also seeking a DVD distributor.
